About the event

Looking for tools to help you with challenging youth in your class or home?

Could you use some great skills to navigate the power struggles and defiance you are experiencing?

This is a 6 hour Zoom Training (done over 2 days from 9:00AM-12:00PM Pacific/AZ time each day on 6/29/21 and 6/30/21.)

This latest curriculum from the creators of Love and Logic® will cover how trauma affects the brain; understanding intense and upsetting behaviors; the science behind healthy attachment relationships; avoiding power struggles, overcoming defiance, and guiding these youth toward success. Participants will walk away with specific strategies to use in their home, class, or setting.

I have taught over 3,500 individuals as an Independent Facilitator of the Love and Logic® Curriculum since 2006. Additionally, as a parent of 4 grown biological children and an adopted teenager, I have seen the life-changing impact of these tools and this trauma-informed  research first hand!

$60 includes materials, workbook, certificate, zoom breakouts to meet other parents, educators, foster care staff ,and my new children's book, Where in the Zoo Are You? , which helps kids talk about their feelings during trauma.

If you are taking the class as a couple, you may join together on the same computer for no additional fee!
